Ministries & Programs

HC Kids

Our goal in HC kids is to teach kids aged nursery to grade 4 about Jesus and help them strengthen their relationship with Him.

Each week our team is committed to providing a fun, safe, secure, and engaging environment for every child. Every volunteer has completed a criminal record check as well as a child-intervention check through the province of Alberta. Every week our Pastors and team leaders bring the bible to life through a variety of activities, games, worship, and Bible stories.

If it's your first time with us in HC kids our volunteers will be happy to take you through the check in and check out process.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

For kids age 10-12 see our HCJY - Junior Youth program.

HCJY - Junior Youth

HCJY is the Preteen ministry of Home Church. Our vision is to teach 10-12 year olds about Jesus and the unique calling he has for each person. We prepare kids to share their faith in practical ways, and aim to have the most fun we possibly can!

HCJY's are dismissed after the worship experience has ended and meet in the Destiny School Gym across the parking lot.

Home Church Youth

Students in grades 7-12.

"At HCY you are not just another face in the crowd; you are known and born for an incredible purpose". YOUTH service every Friday night at 7:30pm.

Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm at Legacy Place to help men grow spiritually, lead with integrity, and build meaningful relationships. Together, we pursue God, sharpen one another, and commit to becoming the men God has called us to be.

HC Community Care

Community Care at Home Church

At Home Church, we believe that Everyone Needs Jesus, Everyone Needs a Home—and that home extends beyond our walls into the heart of our community. Our Community Care space is where faith meets action, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need throughout our city.

Every week, our Bus Ministry is picking up 20-30 riders from across the city, ensuring that distance or transportation never stands between anyone and the love of Christ.

As well, each week, every school‑aged child in our program receives a full week of lunches to take home — filling not only their stomachs, but reminding them they are seen, supported, and loved.

Through our Hamper Program, we partner with local families facing the very real food crisis that touches so many households today. We believe no family should have to choose between necessities, and we're committed to helping bridge the gap with practical support and genuine compassion.

Throughout the year, we do multiple campaigns across our City, that you can be involved in;

  • Park Pop-ups – bringing church to the community
  • Summer Camp – a summer gathering at our Red Deer campus, across 3 days
  • Kids Nights Out – providing safe, fun environments for youth
  • Christmas Experience – celebrating the season with wonder
  • Christmas is for Everyone – our annual toy and hamper drive ensuring every family experiences the joy of Christmas

"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:17-18

Get Involved

Your hands can make a difference. To learn more about our Community Care space or to volunteer, please contact our office at (403) 343-6570 or email us at communitycare(at)myhomechurch.ca.

Together, we're building a community where everyone has a place at the table.

Small Groups

Getting connected to a small group is what makes a big church feel small. It’s the place where community is built & where you will meet people who will walk through life with you.

Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join with them in serving God. Whatever your age, interest, or location there is a group that is just right for you. Whether it’s through sermon discussion, book study or sharing a common interest, we encourage everyone to join a small group & begin growing in their relationship with God & His church.
