More specifically - your marriage matters. There is no greater blessing from God than a healthy, strong marriage and nothing reflects the relationship God wants to have with the church better than a Christ centered marriage. Like anything else in life though, it requires our attention, our focus, our energy, and our commitment.
Divorce is costly – financially, emotionally, and spiritually, and it demands payment from everyone in the family – not just the two people calling it quits. Our prayer is that as we set aside the next two weeks to see what God’s Word has to say about how we treat one another, our minds will be transformed; old patterns will be adjusted, and our marriages will be stronger than ever before.
Will you commit to the next 14 days?
Marriage takes two people committed to personal growth and change. As you read each day, do not give in to the temptation to point out what the other spouse has done to disappoint, but rather make a personal commitment to become the spouse you would want to be married to. These verses will help you in every relationship you have since marriage is simply an amplifier of our ability to relate to others in a healthy, meaningful way. Decide you are going to let God’s Word shape you and shape your marriage.
At the end of the two weeks on Feb 28 at 6:00pm we will gather together online for our third XO Conference!! You can register for that call at events.myhomechurch.ca
